William Tyner

August 1, 1958 — July 29, 2021

William Philip Tyner, 62, of Colcord, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021.  He was born on August 1, 1958 in Claremore, Oklahoma, the son of Clayton Edward Tyner and Judith (Loving) Tyner.  William faithfully served his Country in the United States Marine Corp.   He retired from the Lone Star Cement Plant as the Plant Operator after many years of service.  William loved the outdoors especially hunting.  A special place for him was being on his creek.  He enjoyed animals and watching them on his property.  William loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren.  He will be so very missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Memorial Service will be held by the family Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 2 p.m. in the Salina Community Building, by the Library in Salina, Oklahoma.  To leave a personal message to his family, please see his Tribute at www.shipmansfuneralhome.com.  Cremation Arrangements are under the direction of Shipman’s Funeral & Cremation Service.

He is survived by his daughter, Tonya Tyner of Tulsa, OK; his sons, William Jacob Tyner and wife, Ashleigh of Broken Arrow, OK and David Allen Tyner of Baltimore, MA; his brothers, J.D. Grass of Salina, OK, Sam Tyner of Miami, OK, Joe Tyner of Quapaw, Flint Tyner of Dewey, OK and Daniel Tyner of Quapaw, OK; his sisters, Margaret Tyner of Claremore, OK, Mariah Tyner of Quapaw, OK, Hanna Baker and husband, Brandon of Quapaw, OK, Kaylee Grass of Tulsa, OK and Connie Grass of Katy, TX; six grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Tyner; parents, Ed and Judy Tyner, one daughter, Janet Marie Tyner; grandmother, Maggie Loving.
