Zachary Calvin Jackson, 52, of Chouteau, departed from this life on Saturday, February 26, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on March 13, 1969, in Tulsa, Oklahoma; the son of Calvin Jackson and Sylvia (Myers) Jackson. Zachary married his wife, Julie, in November of 1991 and together they had 3 children: Jeffrey, Shane, and Clarissa. Zachary enjoyed puttering around his yard, amateur radio, and camping. He was a faithful member of Crossroads Assembly of God in Chouteau, where he managed the puppet team and ran the video equipment there. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend who will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Funeral services for Zachary will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 4, 2022, at Crossroads Assembly of God in Chouteau with Reverend Jess Stipes officiating. Burial will follow in Chouteau West Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Shipman’s Funeral Home. Zachary is survived by his wife, Julie, of the home; children, Jeffrey Jackson, Shane Jackson, and Clarissa Jackson all of Chouteau; mother, Sylvia Jackson of Chouteau; brother, Marty Jackson and wife Jeannie of Inola; sisters, Vickie Jackson of Chouteau, Dianna Buck Whorton of Chelsea, and Rachel Roberts and husband Jason of Coweta; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Calvin; brother, Jack Jackson; and sister, Sharon.
