Charles William Wilson, 79, of Salina, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020 at his home. He was born on September 4, 1941 in Warwick, New York; the son of Charles E. Wilson and Myrtle (Conklin) Wilson. Charlie married the love of his life, Sandra, on September 22, 1962 in New York, and together they had 4 children; Richard, Charles, Diana, and Donna. He faithfully served our country in the United States Air Force. After being discharged from the military, he began his career as an Electrical and Mechanical Engineer with IBM Corporation and then started his own business, Charlie’s Custom Wood Working. Charlie looked forward to spending time outside, especially fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and old country music with his friends whenever he got the chance to. Charlie was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed by his loved ones. He leaves behind many wonderful memories for his family to cherish.

Viewing is available on Friday, October 16, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Shipman's Funeral Home in Pryor, Oklahoma. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Shipman’s Funeral Home. Charlie is survived by his wife, Sandra, of the home; sons, Richard Wilson of Owasso, Oklahoma, and Charles Wilson of Virginia; daughters, Diana Patton of Salina, Oklahoma, and Donna Benson and husband Greg of Pennsylvania; 11 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Myrtle; and brother, Richard Wilson.
