Debra Adams

Debra Kay Adams, 64, of Salina, passed from this life on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born on March 26, 1957 in Mansfield, Missouri; the daughter of Melvin and Leona May (Holt) Sanders. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and had a special love for her Yorkie, Sugar. She also enjoyed doing things outside such as tending to flower and vegetable gardens. She had a sweet spirit that was kind and was well known for always helping others. She was a blessing to everyone who knew and loved her and leaves behind many wonderful memories for all to cherish.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., at Graham Memorial Cemetery in Pryor. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 8, 2021 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. Aaron Bowline, Dean Bowline, Chris Sulin, Justin Sulin, and Nathan Delp will serve as honorary casket bearers. She is survived by her mother, Leona May Sanders; her son, Charles Adams and wife Angie of Langley, Oklahoma; her daughters, Jennifer Hebb of Pryor, Christina Rouviere of Topeka, Kansas; her stepdaughter, Cynthia Carroll of Pryor, Oklahoma; her brother, Gary Sanders and wife Susan of Wichita, Kansas; her sisters, Sherry Bollinger and husband John of Wichita, Kansas and Melissa Thompson and husband Norm of Bellevue, Nebraska; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Adams; father, Melvin Sanders; sons, Robert Dakota Steele, Michael Larry Adams, and Richard Todd Adams; brothers, Danny and Larry Sanders; and a grandson, Shane Bowline.
