Edward Cunningham

Edward Wayne Cunningham, 44, of Chouteau, departed from this life on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at his home. He was born on February 20, 1977 in Claremore, Oklahoma; the son of Leroy Cunningham and Glenda Aery (Hays). Edward worked at American Castings for many years and enjoyed working there. He loved hunting, fishing, and trapping animals. He also was a proud member of the National Fur Trapper Association. Edward was a loving father who leaves behind many wonderful memories for his family to cherish.

Services for Edward will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 1, 2021, at Pleasant View Baptist Church with Reverend Andy Pilant officiating. Burial will follow in Benge Cemetery with Billy Cunningham, Cody Cunningham, Tyler Weaver, Robert Ewert, Travis DeArmond, and Roger DeArmond serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be Logan Weaver, Charles Cunningham, Newton Cunningham, and Scott Robinson. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Shipman’s Funeral Home. Edward is survived by his parents, Leroy and Donna Cunningham and Glenda Aery; daughters, Emily Ann Cunningham and Kimberly Faith Cunningham both of Spavinaw, Oklahoma; brothers, Roger DeArmond of Tulsa, DeWayne DeArmond of Florida, Steve DeArmond of Florida, and Travis DeArmond of Chouteau, Oklahoma; sister, Amy Darlene Robinson and husband Scott of Chouteau, nieces Gabrielle Robinson and Samantha Westbrook ; and many other relatives and friends.
