Gwendolyn "Gwen" Jeffery

Gwen Jeffery, 51 of Chouteau, passed from this life on Monday, September 20, 2021, in Claremore, Oklahoma. She was born on July 9, 1970 in Lawton, Oklahoma; the daughter of David Jeffery and Carolin (Scheel) Troyer. Gwen graduated from Locust Grove High School with the class of 1989. She was most recently working at JL’s BBQ and truly enjoyed working there. Gwen enjoyed going to the creek, OU football, drawing, and watching the butterflies. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed.

Services for Gwen will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 24, 2021, at Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Carl Helmuth officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Shipman’s Funeral Home. Gwen is survived by her mother, Carolin Troyer and husband Jerry of Adair, Oklahoma; son, Timothy Forbes of Chouteau, Oklahoma; daughter, Ashilyn Ryan and husband Christopher of St. Joseph, Missouri; brothers, Ronnie Fuller of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Jerry Fuller and wife Tralina of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister, Renae Howard and husband Tony of Pryor, Oklahoma; and 2 grandchildren, Tessa Ryan and Hunter Ryan. She is preceded in death by her father, David; brother, Mike Jeffery; and sisters, Janice and Lavonne Jeffery.
