Jimmie Forrest Guinn was born July 16, 1938 to Charles Forrest Guinn and Myrtle Hollandsworth, both preceded him in death. They had 3 children, Jim married Elveta Muns/Price on March 13, 1967, Judith Raye Hollandsworth/Joeckel; Living, Jean Ann Hollandsworth, Odell, Deceased, a Brother – in – law, Don O’dell; sister in law, Loreta White; Jim and Elveta had 2 sons, Larry Guinn Deceased, and Charles Sterling Guinn, married to Denise Flanders/ Guinn. There are 11 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren and one on the way. Jim has had a full and interesting life. He loved his family and all the extended family. He joined the navy at 17, served on an aircraft carrier, and a fireman for airplane fires during the Korean War. He was a deputy Sherriff for Mayes County for 3 years as well as driving an 18-wheeler for 17 years. He was an avid fisherman, bow shooter, gun proficient enthusiast, and also enjoyed Scuba diving and Tae Kwon Do. He shared all these with his wife, Elveta. Together, they also enjoyed many different crafts. He dedicated his life to Christ in 1973.
