Lucinda White

Lucinda White, 77, of Spavinaw, passed from this life on Friday, November 19, 2021 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She was born on July 20, 1944 in Claremore, Oklahoma; the daughter of John and Jane (Cabbagehead) Mouse. She was a member of the Ribbon Baptist Church in Spavinaw where she loved attending various church activities and spending time with her church family. She loved to make quilts and spent her working years as a seamstress at Fabricut and Hilda’s Interiors before becoming self-employed. She also enjoyed hunting wild onion and wishi and cooking for her family. She cherished family time and loved having everyone together. She leaves behind many memories for all to cherish and will be dearly missed.

Funeral services for Lucinda will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., in the Ribbon Baptist Church with Reverend Floyd Kingfisher officiating. Burial will follow at the Jack Ribbon Cemetery with Glen Buffington, Tadpole White, Daryl Mouse, Jake Rolland, Kenny Hogshooter, and Cameron Sutton serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be Christopher White, Spencer White, Keegan Kingfisher, and Nolan White. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Shipman’s Funeral Home. She is survived by her son, Derrick White of Salina; her daughter, Alfredia (Sissy) Kingfisher and husband Sonny of Salina; her brothers, Tony Mouse and Richard Littledave of Spavinaw; her sister, Dora Bradford also of Spavinaw; her grandchildren, Christopher and Spencer White, and Keegan Kingfisher; and two great grandchildren, Rainey Mae and Nolan Christopher White. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles White; her parents, John and Jane; brothers, Louie Mouse, Bobby John Mouse, and J.B. Mouse; sisters, Eva Chancellor, Geneva Hogshooter, and Leona Sutton; and many other relatives and friends.
