January 20, 1939 — February 23, 2021

Mary Kay Bailey, 82, of Locust Grove, departed from this life on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at her home. She was born on January 20, 1939 in Quincy, Illinois; the daughter of Earl and Murriel (Oaks) Rudsell. Mary was a homemaker for all of her life and took care of her home and children. She loved a good sale; garage sales and thrift shopping were her favorites. In her pastime, she loved to paint, craft, and plant flowers in her garden. She was a member of Exciting Southeast Baptist Church and enjoyed attending services there. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister who will be dearly missed.

Graveside services for Mary will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 26, 2021 at Ross-Mayes Cemetery with Pastor Rob Pierce officiating. Mary is survived by her sons, Robert Bailey, Ronnie Bailey, and Robbie Atkisson; daughters, Debbie James and Terry Simpson; brothers, Dennis Harris, Larry Harris, Bubby Harris, and John Dillenger; sister, Joyce Elliott; 16 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Murriel; husband, Robert; daughter, Sherry Terrell; and sister, Shirley Jean.
