Shirley Holman

Shirley Ann Holman, 82, of Locust Grove, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021 in Tulsa. She was born on January 7, 1939 in Chouteau, Oklahoma; the daughter of Mack A. and Ruby (Crossen) Croft. She married Johnnie “Ike” Holman on October 25, 1957 and have celebrated 64 years of marriage. She worked in the home most of her life, tending to her family and making sure they were always taken care of. Shirley loved animals and had a special love for horses. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and cherished each moment she had with them. Shirley and Ike were members of the First United Methodist Church in Locust Grove for many years. Shirley was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend and leaves behind many wonderful memories for her family to remember.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Johnnie “Ike” Holman of the home; sons, Johnnie W. Holman and wife Colleen of Salina, Oklahoma and Buddy Holman and wife Lorraine of Salina, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren, Andy Holman, Janie Brickey, Trenda Cisper, and Nate Holman; 6 great grandchildren, Sadie Brickey, Lily Holman, Suzie Brickey, Connor Cisper, Roland Holman, and Holland Holman; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Ruby Croft; and sisters, Maxine Patterson and Barbara Dill.
